Blow The Trumpet In Zion

BLOW THE TRUMPET IN ZION

Image result for trumpet of zion

We are in the end-times, of that there is no doubt. It’s time for the people of God to stand up and shout…”Prepare the way of the Lord.”

I often wonder; just how saved are we?  Our “instant salvation” message dishonors God and has deluded men. What has it produced? We have become believers who spend hours watching television but minutes watching in prayer; who hunger for the sports page but have no appetite for the Word; spend more money on pet food than on foreign missions; who love to feast but hate to fast; who desire God’s blessings but avoid persecution.  Just how saved are we?

The church has fallen asleep in the enemy’s lap.

Whatever happened to repentance? Today’s church-goer is more interested in prosperity than the human condition; more interested in entertainment than morality; more interested in self-pleasure than assisting one another
; and more interested in self-satisfaction than saving a lost and suffering soul.

Jesus is coming soon and the church is experiencing a crisis. For too many years we have preached an easy comfortable gospel.  We have taught salvation without self-denial and promised a crown without the cross.

We have a “microwave” instant salvation message.  And it has it produced churches full of people who desire God’s blessings but won’t carry His burdens. We have churches filled with selfish, pleasure-seeking “believer’s” who listen to ungodly music and worship movie stars rather than worshiping Him in song and praises.

Is this what Jesus died for? Is this what it means to be born again? How can we be born again if the experience has no call for personal sacrifice, no separation from the world and no hatred of sin?

Repentance always comes before salvation. Why did John the Baptist preach repentance?  To prepare Israel for the coming of Jesus Christ.  Why should we preach repentance? To prepare the world for His second coming.

If Jesus really defeated Satan, why does the earth seem covered with sin, violence, and injustice rather than love, peace, and joy? There are four reasons:

 1. Ignorance: Most believer’s do not fully understand that they have been liberated.  When Jesus returned to heaven, He gave the church authority, dominion, and power over Satan and his demons.  But the church is steeped in unbelief.

2. Satan is a sore loser:  He does not quit without a fight. Believers need to know they have dominion over him and stand firm in faith until they experience the victory.

3. When Satan attacks our minds and hearts with doubt and despair, we forget we are no longer subject to his authority: Therefore, we allow Satan to intimidate, harass and oppress us. We forget that we have authority over the enemy’s power.

4. On the job training: Jesus could take Satan completely out of our lives. However, He wants us to have on-the-job training in how to be an overcomer. Remember, you are Christian, a child of the king, with all the power and authority that come with that name.

The church needs a great awakening. Let revival begin with you.

Ministry of Deliverance and KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge is defined as: "facts, information, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject."

Many people have biblical knowledge, facts concerning, how the bible was canonized, total number of verses, chapters, or even Old Testament Theology and New Testament principles.

In 2 Timothy There is a verse that speaks to knowledge and never being able to apply this knowledge,

2 Timothy 3:7  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth

Deliverance is not just freedom from penalty of sin, but from every aspect of the Devil's yoke.  Freedom and captivity are words that takes on special meanings to the children of God.

As many of you have received freedom from oppression of the enemy, he will seek to bring you back into capativity of the same vices and sins of the past.

Fact:  Satan and his demons will leave for a short season, but at sometime they will come back to see if their house (you) is full or empty.

With this knowlege you can insure that when he comes to bring you back into captavity, you have filled up your house by, filling it with prayers, good thoughts, kind works, Godly praise and uplifting music, conversations that magnify Jesus.

If you neglect this advice or knowledge, ponder the following scripture:

Isa 5:13  Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

Hos 4:6  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Moreover, many people neglect the ministry of deliverance or doesn't fully understand the ministry.  (see the above scriptures again)

Ministers of the gospel and leaders should look again to the sheep that God has given them and ask the questions, why are so many sick, weak, improverished, on drugs, in secret sins, mentally tormented, and living defeated lives?

Fact:  My people are gone into captivity and are destroyed because of the lack of knowledge - GOD

When the ministry of Deliverance and the casting out of demons again becomes knowledge and experienced by churches again, then and only then can God's people emerge as the Warriors that God declares in his word.

With the knowlege gained by reading Breaking Chains of Darkeness, You and your family will never be the same!

DR. JEKYLL & MR. HYDE

A DEMONIC SPIRIT

Most everyone has heard of the book about Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde written by Robert Lewis Stevenson. The story offers the theme of divided self in a very literal way. Dr. Jekyll was conflicted by his moral values. He recognized his inner desire for scandalous behavior, but in the rigid community of Victorian England these behaviors would have been unacceptable.

This supernatural representation presents interesting interpretations about the alternative personalities we often encounter in deliverance. As deliverance ministers, we must recognize that Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde represent a demonic spirit.

You may know someone with such a spirit.

The spirit of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is frequently overlooked during deliverance, yet it is a devastating spirit that greatly affects one’s behavior. It consists of two alter egos.

A person with a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde spirit is marked by dual personalities; one aspect is good and the other bad. The person is usually good for long periods of time and then he allows Mr. Hyde to take over and his behavior becomes evil.

Jekyll and Hyde represent a man who is at war with himself.

A person with this spirit will alternate between being kind and generous to becoming controlling and verbally abusive and no one knows what sets him off. He usually displays a quick and sometimes violent temper. Often times the immediate family are the only ones to witness and/or experience his alternative personalities.

The “symptoms” of someone with this spirit include: fear of abandonment, unstable self-image & insecurity, fear of failure (often found in successful people who fear losing everything), feelings of emptiness, and explosive anger.

An extreme case of this spirit would be Adolf Hitler who had had two contrasting personalities. One was gentle, positive and encouraging. The other personality was mean, controlling and destructive.

If at any time during deliverance you suspect a split personality be sure and confront the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Spirit.

A short time ago we were taking someone through deliverance knowing there were spirits of anger, temper, verbal abuse, fear, insecurity, etc. During the interview process, the spirit spoke through this person and said, “I act just like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”. This was only the second time I had encountered this spirit, but now realize this spirit is often the cause of many other negative personality traits.

During the actual deliverance when commanding this spirit to leave it said; “One of us is good, can’t we stay”? Nice try devil! Of course not, they are one spirit with two personalities.

The purpose of this blog is to inform others of this demonic spirit as we continually learn more about the spiritual realm.

What Do You Put Your Faith In?

What Do You Put Your Faith In?

As born-again believers in this age that we live in, it can sometimes be a little to easy to lose sight of the miracle-working power of God! The world we live in is so fast-paced and filled with so many conveniences (and I thank God for it) that we become complacent in our faith.  I believe that this is the master plan of the devil.  If he can have us to doubt God, he can then also have us ultimately turning on God without even realizing what we have done.

The Bible declares that in the fifth chapter of the Gospel of John, 5"Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked."

What we see in the story is that the man almost had faith in God. We see he had his faith in an angel that could “trouble” the water, and he had his faith in man whom could place them in the water.   However, we see that when he finally was able to meet Jesus all he had to do was take the word of Jesus in verse eight, and he took up his bed and he walked!

Jesus says in the eleventh chapter and the twenty-sixth verse of the gospel of Mark, “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

All it takes is faith!  When we place our faith solely upon Jesus, then all things truly are possible!  That’s where deliverance plays a crucial role in the spiritual health of a Christian. When the things that are tormenting you are removed, doubt and unbelief included, then and only then can you begin to walk in the freedom that God alone can give through our savior and master Jesus Christ!  Always remember, Jesus would not have died for your freedom from all sickness, diseases, heartaches if He didn’t think you were worth it!  Anyway, I hope this encourages you in your walk with the Lord as it’s just one man's opinion.

God Bless You,

Gifts of The Spirit

"The Gifts of The Spirit Are No Longer In Operation????"

So often today, so many believers fall for the lies of the devil.  Seemingly, one of the most common lies the devil has convinced the church of is that the church has no power!  However true as this may be in most churches today, the power never left the church!  The church has lost sight of the "power", we see in Acts 1:8 that Jesus told the disciples,  "But, you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you."   What was this "power"? It was the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues!  This is the initial sign of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit as referenced in Acts 2, 10, 19, etc.

So what are the "gifts of the Spirit" and where do I find them?  I'm glad you asked!  They are in 1 Corinthians chapter 12, and surprisingly when we attended a "dead" church, we never heard about these.  So here we go, interpretation of tongues, tongues, discerning of spirits, prophesy, miracles, healing, faith, knowledge, and wisdom.

Surely the church believes in tongues, interpretation and discerning of spirits.... right? How about prophecy, miracles, healing?  Aren't these all in your Bible?  What about faith? Knowledge? Wisdom??  I'm not sure about you, but I don't want to be at a church that believes these "gifts" were just for the apostles, that means they don't believe in faith, knowledge or even wisdom.... and it seems to be more and more evident with every passing year!

If you are part of a church that does not believe in the whole Bible, you should find the most convenient exit and run as fast as you can, to a church that believes that Jesus DID transfer to us the power and authority over ALL power of the enemy.  Luke 10:19
